Some followers might have noticed that I've been doing quite a bit for the new weekly story comic, The Phoenix! Well, here's a chance to see what it's all about - The Phoenix have made a lovely gift box that contains a mini-comic, goodies, and a 5 issues subscription all in one, and you can order it straight from the website. For people living outside the UK, don't worry, The Phoenix will be going digital some time soon too ^_^

Well, it was going great, but unfortunately since then I've had a series of nasty viruses that have kept me out of action for about three weeks now! I was hoping to have started work on the finished pages by now, but that's going to have to wait till I've recovered a bit, which hopefully seems to be happening.

You have an amazing,admirable style.ive tried anime/manga style but its not for me.i just have this urge to draw a thousand lines on everything.i burn myself out very fast.you clean line style and excellent shading looks great.

Thanks! :D It's always a good exercise to try describing something in as few lines as possible - the result doesn't need to look anime/manga, there are some fantastic western artists whose work is still very clean and simple.
