For this one, the shading was all done traditionally, which again is unusual for me. I tried an odd technique which I just made up as I went along, in which I used a piece of tracing paper like an animation cell. The line work was done on one side, then the drawing flipped and the shading done on the other side. I quite like the resulting look, but I'm not fond of the my drawing on this one.
I feel my quality is going downhill of late... Maybe a symptom of overworking myself.
I personally like this one more than the other one. I think I like the look of being pulled out of a slump or something like that haha. Interesting technique you used, it turned out great.

It was going to be the cover for a sort of compilation raising awareness about global warming. Not sure how much I can say, but it's a big project with a small budget. Some quite big bands were being talked to about it, but nothing's confirmed yet.
