These are the next two pages of Diamonds

I think this'll be it for the time being. I might do another spread a little later, since some publishers require a few more pages in the pitch packages, but I like the way this page hints at more, but brings the opening cycle of the 'growing up' to a close.
Again, critiques encouraged!

I love it all- the style fits the story, strangely and perfectly. Are we going to get to see the next pages?

The way you panelled the story is amazing and very inspiring

. I love when comic artists do try and innovate in presentation like that !
One thing i have to critique though, is that to me her head is a bit too narrow, well, especially on the portrait on the upper left side, she seems to lack part of her cranium. Of course, it's stylized, and it's maybe a deliberate choice, but it kind of make me tick, so i thought i'd share my two cents on it.
but apart from that minor thing, it's excellent

Ah, I'd almost forgotten about these! I miss composing proper comic pages.
I think I agree with you about her head. My style's morphed a lot since then, so it's almost like looking back on someone else's work.

Thanks, I do still draw comics, although I don't get to play around with layout and story like this anymore, since I'm more or less an artist for hire. More's the shame
