I'm planning a short, wordless story of 12 pages.
I've thought quite a bit about it, and the sort of atmosphere I want it to have. This is the character I've come up with after some sketching around. I only have the vaguest outlines of a story so far, so it would be really useful if you could let me know what sort of an impression you get from this character, and what you'd imagine him/his background to be like.

But yesh, the character design is great, i love how unique he is and the way he has facial hair! also, the colouring of dark colours is amazing *w* i'm also in love with the lineart. erm.. not sure how to say this, but i like how... the whole image seems somewhat blurry and soft? Not sure if it's the colouring or line art but it looks neato! ^_^v

Btw, the soft effect is got by duplicating and blurring the linework layer

He was happy and leading a carefree life. Until one day... he lost all his money to his unhealthy addiction to decaffinated coffee and turtle racing...deciding there was nothing left for him he went on an adventure!... Packing his bags he goes on to become a proffesional hobo~ Out to see the world! So many discarded newspapers to read, so many benches to sleep on...So little time!

And I love his eyes! He's very handsome~

Hmmmm.....I imagine him as someone who has a head for business and who has been running some kind of multinational business for a few years. But now, he can't take it any more and has faked his own death to the media so that he can escape. Only a few close friends know he is really alive....

and off he goes, in search of something more fulfilling. ^_^
