Ferdinand and Miranda by spoonbard Ferdinand and Miranda by spoonbard
This is a bit of a random submission... Looking through my galleries, I realised that I don't have a very wide range of things from The Tempest posted up here, so here's one of the colour pages from the opening on the book introducing all the characters.
I redrew this image during the process of the comic, because the original was horrendous. I'm quite pleased with how the redraw doesn't seem to have aged much despite the amount I've done since The Tempest was finished.

Why this reminds me of Tia Dalma and Davy Jones I have no idea. Haven't read this installment of Manga Shakespeare, but The Tempest is one of the more favorite plays that I've seen.

This is really nice. :) I love the contrast between the two halves, but they still fit together well.

I love your almost-manga theme! very original
as always, great shading, realistic pose, good use of (is that stock?) stock images, pleasing colours and beautiful work.
