This is a conceptual mock-up of a still from my final animation project

The whole thing will hopefully look something like this (but better

). It also happens to be a short chunk from the storyline I'm working on with ~kandinsky-prince that we've submitted to Tokyopop as a full length pitch. I added the typography to make it look a little more like a poster

I enjoy the pale color scheme this has. It reminds me of watercolor, somewhat. And although the hand is very surreal, it also looks like it belongs there (as if giant hands are commonly found in grasslands). Gotta wonder how you managed that.

I didn't notice at first how the clothing fades into existence. That's a really cool effect, especially since I had to stare at it a while before I got it.

^_^ thanks! The idea is that the surroundings, and the image of the person are all sort of a mental projection. So it's literally like a map of the brain of the character in image (sortof XD). It's a shame I had to scrap this image during production, I would have really liked to include it in the final piece.
