Artist's Comments
Been working a while on this one. Originally, I wanted it to be super detailed and really well rendered colouring wise, but despite the detail I put into the pencils, they ended up looking quite simple, and the simple colours matched them nicely.
The theme is really free association. As I drew, ideas came into my head, I modified them, added other elements, and eventually settled on the word 'satellite'. I guess it's about the self. Not sure what more to say... it's a bit of an odd one out. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. An hour passed, the moon came up, hunger and terror hold sleep at bay, in the wards everyone is awake.
Only thing i'd say... took me a while to realise what was goin on tho, especially at the feet which look kinda mis-shapen... the one(s) to our left look particulary weird... would ripples help? or would that be too obvious? O~o

The feet are meant to be misshapen actually. XD They're kinda glooping into one another. I couldn't do ripples because that would make it seem like a reflection, when it's really two women melding into one another. I gave it some thought, and I can't think of a way to make something so surrel more obvious... it seems that enough people recognised what I was trying to do for it not to be too much of a problem though
