Since moving into my new house I've been re-introduced to the world of Warhammer (and WH 40000), and I've been thinking 'space marines... now, they're *much* cooler than I remember them being'. Which gave rise to this essentially. It's based loosely on a rather shiny inquisitor model which I used copiously for reference. I *think* this counts as fan art. Oh well, it's here anyway.
I'm going to be interested to see how many people who watch me know (or should I say care XD) what this is. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. But background wise two things are not perfect.
Bolter is not standard type bolter as a ultramarine he's supposed to have, but a deathwatcher bolter. The "things" on the side are a sort of feeds for not standard bullet, like hellfire bullets. Btw we can suppose he's a tyranid hunter, so the bolter fit the bg. Another thing not really right is the left shoulderpad, similar to deathwatcher shoulderpad (the one with =I= simbol). Sure these things come from the fact you use Artemis from Inquisitor range for model, and he's a Marine form deathwatchers.
Apart these two little things... Excellent work, may Emperor bless you.
